Family Association

The FOL support the school’s David Hale Library by promoting literacy; planning and running Book Fest, our annual celebration of literacy; and supporting library activities and events throughout the year. Trained FOL volunteers also work on a weekly basis to check-out and re-shelve books.

This is one of MP&MS’s most beloved events of the year! Our Harvest Festival Committee will help get our garden in tip top shape for the festival, as well as help organize and plan activities for this special day with the committee chair.

Our FOG team is made up of parents/guardians who are interested in supporting the FOG specialists in maintaining our school’s beautiful garden and grounds. This group helps with planting and small building or repair jobs, and campus beautification (ongoing during the school year), as well as brainstorming ways to get our families and kids outside and learning.

Organize a festive fundraising event that showcases makers & bakers from our community and sends the community off to Winter break in style!

Our school’s largest event-based fundraiser is made possible only by the team of parent volunteers who plan and execute this event. Volunteers are needed with skills and interests ranging from solicitations of donated items for our live and silent auctions, database management, event planning and project management, copy writing and editing, website building, budgeting, decorating, event design, and more. Planning for this significant event begins in the early fall.

The Teacher and Staff Appreciation team celebrates our teachers during our own Teacher Appreciation week in the spring each year. We decorate the staff lounge, bring food, hand out goody bags, and hold raffles to make it even more fun. Your creative ideas are welcome!
