STEP TWO: Register for either a required campus tour or open house via Ravenna

We love showing off our school. A campus tour is a required step in the application process. We host group tours starting in October and running through January. Registration is available through Ravenna.

If your schedule does not allow you to attend a group tour or open house, please contact admissions@mpms.org to schedule a private tour of campus.

STEP THREE: Apply 

The full application is available through Ravenna.

In addition to biographical information, the application asks for responses to a series of prompts. Because we cannot meet every preschool applicant, these written responses play a critically important role in how our admissions committee evaluates applicants. No child is without flaw; we encourage you to be open about your child's strengths and areas where we can partner with you on their growth.

Note: Children must be 24 months by September 1 to enter our two-year-old program; three years of age by September 1 to enter our three-year-old program; and four years of age by September 1 to enter our four-year-old program.

STEP FOUR: Register for a playdate

Upon submitting an application, register for one of our playdates through Ravenna. 

Saturday, January 30 or Saturday, February 6 from 9 to 11 a.m.

The application includes requests for records from previous schools and a teacher evaluation form. Please be prepared to request those items in order to complete the application.

Kindergarten: Upon submitting an application, register for one of our playdates through Ravenna on Saturday, January 30 or Saturday, February 6 from 9 -11 a.m.  

1st-4th grade: After your application is submitted you will receive a message from our Director of Enrollment Management inviting your child to spend a full day here at MP&MS.

STEP FIVE: Parent/Guardian Interview

Parent interviews are informal conversations for applicant families conducted either in person or over Zoom. The goal of these meetings is to answer any remaining questions and further MP&MS and families' familiarity with one another.

Questions in the interview focus on the student and how MP&MS can best serve them.

Our admissions team will reach out to you to schedule this interview.

Additionally, the application contains a student questionnaire. This is meant to be a simple and straightforward exercise for your child to demonstrate their writing ability and articulate their aspirations for middle school.
