Bike Riding
Forget the Tour de France! How about Tour de Twin Cities? Live on a hill or a busy street, have no place to ride safely at home, want to get those training wheels off? Get those wheels spinning and practice basic bike skills while learning proper biking etiquette, how to fix a flat, or put a chain back on. Whether on or off campus, bike riding is a blast. Keep your bike here all summer if you like - we keep 'em locked up in the cage area.
Drama
Some say save the drama for your momma, but at camp we encourage and direct our campers to take center stage. Activities include drama games, skits, and productions. Campers will learn how to harness their dramatic prowness as well as building confidence and self esteem. Campers have the option to develop skits and stories as well as follow directions with the guidance of counselors.
Music
Summertime and the living's easy. I don't want to work. I just want to band on a drum all day long. Do you play and instrument? Play in a band? Have you ever wanted to learn about musical instruments and discover that rock star in you? Come on down to the music room and get your groove on.
Gardening
Don't panic, it's organic. Do you like gardening? Ever wanted to know where fruits and vegetables come from? Have you ever wondered what it feels like to have a green thumb? The MP&MS summer camp garden will do everything from planting to picking. Campers will learn about proper gardening techniques and how to help our with the garden at home.
