Marin Primary & Middle School is a school with a unique spirit and rich educational program, where students spend their days with talented and caring teachers who truly believe that childhood is a time to be treasured. The commitment of the faculty to "teach to reach children" and "teach children to reach" while also inspiring children "to make a difference" is evident throughout the curriculum and imbedded within the life of the school. Through their most impressionable years, students are challenged to develop a lifelong love of learning that includes equal measures of rigor and inquiry.

These qualities emerged over and over again in conversations with students, parents, and teachers when I first arrived at the school; it has been a pleasure to see the mission and philosophy unfold repeatedly during my first year as head of school. I am honored and privileged to be a part of a program that supports the whole child while helping children become confident learners, thoughtful leaders, and caring citizens of the world.
